Life has, let’s just say, really happened since I last emailed.
2024 had it all. Deaths, births, big celebratory trips, and plenty of amazing, strange, and wonderful in-betweens. I’ve been prioritizing quiet moments to myself while also cherishing my family and fRamily as much as humanly possible.
With the switch to Substack (everyone’s doing it!) I’ll be able to communicate in different ways. Sometimes just to share life things I’ve been loving, and other times to talk more specifically about work. Either way, I’m glad you’re here!
Most recently, with the help of my brilliant sister, I revamped SB Home’s visual identity and the majority of my website. It’s still under construction but I’m loving the new colors and direction we’re going in. In addition to the aesthetics, I’ve decided to roll out some new ways to engage.
More info on that and some other funsville things below!
Been meaning to take some time to rethink my brand’s online presence and I’m so excited to share what I’ve been cooking up with Hannah Barnett Studio. She really knows how to get to the root of a client’s vibe and convey that through type, color and copy (shameless sister plug).
Interior Design (capital I, capital D) can be an intimidating process to launch into. With the rollout of some more malleable intro options, I’ll be able to reach people at all stages of the design lifecycle. Everything from choosing paint colors to rethinking how you organize your closet or your dreaded junk drawer - we can start wherever you feel comfortable!

I cannot get Scotland and Ireland out of my head. Maybe it’s the influx of Irish culture that’s dominating our current media landscape, but either way, its all consuming. I’m watching Derry Girls for the first time (I know, I know how did it take me this long!?) and just finished the most recent season of Bad Sisters and with Love Island Allstars as the cherry on top, I’m getting close to not needing the captions on to understand what the hell they’re saying. NOT TO BRAG! So yeah, I think a trip to the homeland might be on the horizon.
We’ve been teasing it for some time, but Hannah and I are launching a podcast! Over the past few months, I’ve realized how important it is to diversify my creative outlets and I can’t wait to share whatever this endeavor ends up being. Trust that we will circulate it far and wide once it’s ready to be consumed. Watch this space!
I never don’t want pasta, but this is especially enticing. Catch me perfecting my vodka sauce recipe and not shutting up about it starting now.
I smell a reason for a dinner party.
At the end of 2024 I took a class to learn how to read tarot cards. I’ve been messing around with them for years, but learning the ins and outs of each card was beyond cool and informative. I learned a ton and am excited to keep diving into an art so ancient. To enhance the witchiness of it all, worlds collided when I came across these images from World of Interiors, one of my favorite sources of general inspiration, about a tarot exhibit at the Warburg Institute in London.
